okay so need all the help i can get!
my 17th birthday is december 30th.... not a good time!
i have a bg house and 10 acres, and horses, and stuff lke that....and i dont kno what to do for my party i want to have t at my house, but idk!
the main thng is that i need help thnking of a theme for my party, and what to do for my party.

Movie party at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decorations for this at oriental trading. com and you can also find some movie stuff on the hollywood sites I mentioned above. Watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance if your have room.
Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room. Candy theme: Pink tablecloths, pink and white balloons. Make candy bouquets for the tables with short wide mouth vase from the dollar store. Fill 1/3 with peppermint disks. Buy colorful lollipops and put in the vase. Make another one t he same but use candy sticks instead like cherry, lime, etc. You can attach bows to each one with a favor card that says your initial, 16 or thanks for coming to my sweet 16 and then after the party give them out as favors. Get personalized M and Ms to put in small favor bags. Get personalized hershey bar wrappers and little personalized stickers that go on the bottom of hershey's kisses or even hard candy. Buy plate size styrofoam 3 inch thick rounds and wrap in clear cellophane for a big hard candy decorations. you could put a wood dowel in one to make it a sucker. Play twister. For favors those candy necklaces, bracelets ands ring pops and candy lipsticks. They sell inflatable lollipops at Windy City Novelities. Buy a sweet 16 plastic sucker mold. We got 1 for 2.50 on Ebay. We bought 3 bags of colored chocolate at the craft store and 1.50 each and made 27 lolliopops out of that. A bag of 100 lolly bags and ties is 1.99. It was so easy to make. Shindigz sells personalized clear candy jars. Also have cotton candy. Decorate with pink and white tissue balls. Also party cheap sells a sundae tissue decoration.
Sweet games: One game is you melt small pieces of chocolate into small bowls and then you blindfold people one at a time and have them taste and they have to guess what kind of candybar it is. Then have a candy prize for the winner, like a little candy gift basket.
Fill a jar with some type of small candies, maybe personalized M and Ms with a 16 on them or your initials. Have people guess how many and again have a prize for the winner.
Play bingo using Candy hearts as bingo chips.
Twister is a colorful game that goes with candy theme.
Fill a pinata full of popular candy. Sour stuff seems to be in.
You could do a Willie Wonka like contest. Buy these personalized candy bar wrappers and put a few golden tickets inside when you assemble them. Then, hand them out at the party for an activity and have some small door prize for the winners. http://www.4funparties.com/app/index.php...
Neon theme. Bright colors, neon lights and glow in the dark items. They sell lights that go in balloons and all kinds of neon and glow in the dark items at windy city novelitis, oriental trading and U.S. Toy Company. Shop.glogames.com. Glowsource.com

These are huge plastic murals ke your theme looks so real. We have used these and love them and so cheap. You buy backgrounds and can add things to them.

Have a Hills party like the MTV show. Decorate with Hollywood backgrounds from fun4parties.com. Tell the girls on the invite to wear Hills type dresses and guys preppy style: give the girls rockstar sunglasses like they wear on the hills from windycity novelities. Have a fashion show. Get stores to donate a few items, have your friends model.
80's prom theme: This would be so cool. Decorate like it is a high school prom from the 80s and everyone has to dress from that time.

I am planning a birthday party for twin 5y/o boys, and would like to find a good theme. The party is next month, and will be at a private party room of a big restaurant (www.jocksandjills.com) its a great place. So far my family likes the "Cowboy" theme, but we are still thinking of new ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks.
With our 5 year old, we asked him what he wanted...plain and simple. Boys at the age of 5 are able to tell you what they would like and not like. Why not try asking the twins what they would like as a theme?

Hi, I am 13 and I will be fourteen very soon. I wanted to have a birthday party with an Amazing race theme. None of us can drive, and I live in the country so could someone give me some ideas for clues and prizes and stuff. I'll explain my yard so you know what your working with.

barn
huge shed
pool
fence
garage
house
many trees
cars
and yeah you probally get it that our yard has alot of space
should the clues ryme? Can you give me an example of some clues. I want this theme but i hardly watch the show. And when I say theme i just want this activitie, not any decorations or themed food.
Hi Taylor that is such a cool idea! I used to always do an Easter Hunt with clues that rhymed for my kids when they were younger
For prizes, I would try like the dollar store or Target's dollar section or Walmart or a craft and hobby store like Hobby Lobby. You will find a ton of neat stuff to fit your theme at any of those places. If you have a Farm and Fleet near you they have great stuff too. Dont forget about checking the candy and toy section of your grocery store too!

(could be either in a hay bale or by the horses)
