13th birthday party?

Hi. I need help thinking of some fun and original games to play at a birthday party. It's nothing big only about 10 girls. Not sure if it will be a sleepover or not. I can't do a pool party and I couldn't really do it at my house. I LOVE horses and own one... I am going to do a horse theme no matter what...and ideas for a party? I was thinking trail ride or jumpy house? Anything creative and original will be appreciated. Thank you. P.S I know this is in the wrong category I was just hoping people who are into horses could think of some creative games for maybe on horseback or anything...

When I was growing up, we would have birthday parties at the stable where my horse was boarded. My mother would pay money to owner's of horses that were easy to ride. We would have a picnic, cake, presents and then go riding. I could only invite 10 of my friends. Yet, we could ride all day and night, provided the horses were cared for.

At dark, we would build a huge fire and make smoors.

After presents, food, cake and desert, we would take the horses out on a ride.

I had so much fun riding on my birthday!

What’s a good 39th birthday party theme?

I'm planning a surprise party for my friend's 39th birthday (because he'll expect one next year), but I need a theme. I don't want to do a "top of the hill" theme unless I can't come up with anything else. Please help!

I'm not sure if any of the following helps, because I"m not sure how they relate to 39, but he's interested in:
NFL (anyone but the Cowboys)
running
math
rpg

That's a hard one. I was going to suggest the hill theme, lol. Um, if he likes running, you could have him running from 40. Or for math, something like, "Do the math--you're old!"

Of course, you don't have to have the theme relate to 39; just do something related to one of his likes and leave it at that.

A Horse Themed Party for 6 year old…ideas?

For my daughter's 6th birthday we are going horseback riding. But I wanted some activities/games for the kids to play while they wait for their rides. We're going to have country music playing, bandanas, etc. But does anyone have any ideas of what else we could do? Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Have the kids make and decorate "vests" out of brown paper bags.

Fill a large rubbermaid container with sand and water. Mix some pennies in with the sand. Give each child a pie plate or sand sifter and have them "pan for gold."

Since you're going to have music playing anyway, teach them a quick, simple square dance (just make one up--they won't know the difference, anyway!). Or play musical chairs!

Redneck cowboy bullrider birthday in July?

My bf's bday is in July and he is a big redneck, also a bull rider. Any ideas for his party and for gifts? No one has thrown him a party in awhile because he always is working and his parents are split.

Why not have a western theme party or a square dancing party and have it in some one's backyard. See if you can hire a dj and decorate with hay stacks and see if people can bring some 4 wheelers and stuff like that. If you can do a pig roast with all the fixens.
